Course objective Breast Augmentation:
one-day theoretical-practical course on maxillary sinus elevation by the crestal route.
By the end of the course, the participant will have learnt how to use the instruments included in the sinus elevation kit.
The course includes a frontal lecture supported by the viewing of videos and clinical images, followed by a practical test on anatomical simulators.
The course will take place from 09.00 to 17.00 and the following topics will be covered:
- anatomy and physiology of the maxillary sinus;
- radiological anatomy of the maxillary sinus;
- indications and contraindications for sinus lift;
- treatment plan: planning, radiology, pharmacological prophylaxis;
- surgical techniques: lateral approach, crestal approach;
- advantages and disadvantages of the two approaches;
- crestal approach: analysis of various techniques;
- presentations of the SCA Kit Technique;
- SCA surgical protocol Kit;
- analysis of clinical cases performed with SCA Kit technique;
- analysis of surgical complications: prevention and management;
- video of an SCA Kit surgery;
- PRACTICAL PART with the use of surgical kits and biomaterials on simulators.
