InterOss is a natural bone substitute of bovine origin. This biomaterial provides a mineralised osteoconductive structure, similar to human bone, which has been purified using a multi-step process.
After grafting, InterOss acts as an osteoconductive support for the formation of new surrounding vital bone tissue. During the healing process, it gradually remodels and is replaced by the newly formed bone.
The use of InterOss is indicated for:
► augmentation or reconstructive treatment of the alveolar ridge
► filling periodontal defects
► filling defects after root resections, apicoectomies and cystectomies
► Post-extraction alveoli filling to improve alveolar ridge preservation
► sinus floor elevation
► filling periodontal defects in combination with products intended for Guided
Tissue Regeneration (GTR) & Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
► filling peri-implant defects in combination with products intended for GBR
