The design of the flap and the choice of suture technique are key elements in the success of any oral, implant and regenerative surgery. Optimal management of these aspects reduces post-operative complications and ensures predictable and stable healing over time.
This course is designed to provide the clinician with the theoretical and practical tools to consciously choose the most suitable thread, needle and suture technique for each specific surgical procedure.
During the morning session, the main flaps used in oral surgery and implantology will be analysed, with a focus on suture materials, mechanical characteristics of needles and selection criteria in different clinical situations. The afternoon session will be devoted to practice: participants will work on anatomical models, experiencing first-hand the techniques illustrated in the theoretical part, under the direct supervision of the speaker.
The course concludes with an open discussion session, designed to consolidate what has been learnt and discuss real-life clinical cases and experiences.
A comprehensive training course designed for those who want to raise the quality of their surgical procedures with a methodical and evidence-based approach.
